"Loving teddy bears that purr"
Lyn Smirl, SterlingBrits
None of my cats or kittens are caged and live in bright airy surroundings.Kittens
are raised in a dedicated room, where they spend approximately four weeks exclusively with their Mother.During
this time she will teach them, by example to use the litter box, lap water and transition to solid food. They will then be
moved on to a larger room ,with toys and cat trees, baskets and tunnels. In this environment they have have
room to scamper, play socialize and explore. In the environment
I provide all my Cats and Kittens have the opportunity to flourish and grow into healthy, well socialized British Shorthair
kittens. Each kitten receives human interaction every day, by play, physical examination, and as they mature get introduced
to other members of our cat family
I have a great love and affinity for the British Short hair breed, and am
committed to breeding British shorthair kittens from quality Sires and Queens. When kittens are ready to leave at 12-16
weeks, they are sturdy, playful and confident. It may take about 4 years for British shorthair cats to attain full size,
with males attaining 12/16 lbs. and females 8/12lbs. Grooming of the British Shorthair breed is easy, due to their short,
but dense plush coats. It is very important to me
and my Cattery ethic, that when our British Shorthair kittens and retired adults go to new homes, their new families
will love and care for them as much as I do. All kittens come with
Vet check Documentation, with vaccination and booster for Rhinotracheitis. Panlukopenia and Calcivirus also anti- worm medication administered.
The British Shorthair breed is not too demanding in terms of your time and attention, but really know how to recognise your
care and love by reciprocating with their appreciation. I recommend the British Shorthair as an excellent addition to families
be they young or old,as they evidence a dignified character and possess a mellow and laid back disposition. The
British Shorthair may well be a good fit for an owner, or family with a hectic lifestyle as they typically are not as
needy and demanding as some other breeds of cat. Laid back cats that accommodate yout laid back or busy lifestyle. l

Alice with the Cheshire Cat, popular belief
says the Cheshire Cat's smile is typical of the British Shorthair, whose rounded and full whisker pads give rise to that
effect.
